Marin Sun Farms is the extension of the Evans family farm, nestled in the rolling grasslands of the Point Reyes National Seashore in Northern California. Dave Evans is focused and committed to producing local, pasture based food for the Bay Area community with the aspiration of building a sustainable food model.
They raise 100% grass-fed beef, lamb, goat, pasture raised chickens, pork and simply the best eggs you’ve ever had.

The Butcher Shop is located in Point Reyes Station. Marin Sun Farm meats can be purchased at the premier Bay Area Ferry Plaza and Marin Civic Center Farmers, through their Community Supported Agriculture subscription program, and at many restaurants, retail stores, and butcher shops around the San Francisco bay area. Seasons Open: Year round.
They raise their own livestock on ranch properties in Marin and Sonoma counties and also raise livestock in partnership with other nearby ranchers who are critical in filling in seasonal gaps and limitations in production.
No animals are ever given artificial growth hormones or stimulants and are guaranteed to be free of antibiotics. They guarantee ruminant livestock are 100% grass-fed and pasture raised their entire lives, with no consumption of grain, by-product supplements, or ever setting hoof within a confinement feedlot.
Their non-ruminant, mono gastric, omnivorous chickens are pasture raised and allowed to choose their diet from the pasture and grains that they provide.
