The Stanford Inn is a nexus for the change from the conventional Western diet to an ethical and sustainable plant based diet. Ravens’ Restaurant is a popular local spot for breakfast. We serve a primarily vegan breakfast, but do offer egg and dairy options in the morning. All other meal service, including dinner at The Ravens’ is vegan.
If you are a guest of the Inn, enjoy a complimentary gourmet breakfast individually prepared especially for you. Breakfast is served daily from 7:30 a.m. On Sundays, breakfast is served until noon to cater to the brunch crowd.
A truly exceptional experience, dinner at The Ravens’ is served daily from 5:30 p.m. Our selections include pizza, salads, soups and elegant vegetarian entrees and wonderful desserts.
Our menu continually changes in relation to the availability of organic ingredients, the seasons, and the creativity of our chefs! As members of the International Slow Food Movement, we feature cuisine inspired by our California and USDA certified organic gardens.
Our highly selective wine list has received the Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator Magazine, demonstrating our commitment to present a vegetarian/vegan restaurant equal to or better than outstanding meat-based restaurants.
The Ravens’ was named for the raven pair who moved into the trees above the restaurant’s current site in 1995 before we broke ground. Ravens were a very rare occurrence on the Mendocino Coast prior to their arrival. We have since learned that ravens were once common, but were killed by immigrants to the area during the early years of logging.
Price Style for this Establishment: Chef’s Selection is a three course meal, including soup or salad, a special entree and dessert for $35.50.

Regard for the Land – Wine list comprised primarily of wines produced from certified organic vineyards, biodynamic vineyards, or those using sustainable, traditional farming practices.
Recycling – All food wastes are composted and the compost dug back into garden beds. All glass, papers, and cardboard are sent to recycling.

All produce is organic, some produced by our California Certified Organic Farm – Big River Nurseries. And this year we celebrate 24 years of sustainable agriculture.
