Willow Creek-China Flat Museum
Interested in discovering more about the local histories of Willow Creek? The Willow Creek-China Flat Museum brings you back to the time of logging in this beautiful mountainous area. Started in 1988 by a group of people who were interested in preserving historical sites of Humboldt County, this museum presents various exhibits on the Big Foot, early Native American settlers, loggers, and miners. By visiting this site, you will not only see the complete replication of miners’ cabin, artifacts from tribes including the Hupa, Yurok, Karok, Chimariko and Wintu, but also bigfoot foot print casts, bigfoot pictures, maps etc. This is definitely a perfect spot for the whole family to visit.
